With great enthusiasm from the attendants of the 9th Greek ICT Forum that took place on the 29/10/2007, the Municipality of Trikala received an award on the subject: “exploitation of digital technologies for servicing its citizens”.

The reward received the Mayor of Trikala Municipality Mr. Michael Tamilos, who promised that this constitutes the beginning of a series of prizes, concerning new technologies and broadband projects. |

The event was realised in frames of the 9th Greek ICT Forum which has been established as an annual assessment of digital projects in our country, of both private and public sectors. |

The handing-over was attended by the minister of Economy Mr George Alogoskufis, the vice-president of the Greek Parliament Mr Anastasios Nerantzis as well as representatives of the Information Society(I.S.), Digital Convocation(D.C.), business and enterprises of the relative business area. |

At the moment of the nomination, an enthusiastic vibration was given by the e-trikala team, to which Mr Michael Tamilos dedicated this honorary prize. |
