INEC and the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) will collaborate in order to advance their missions of helping communities make better use of information and communication technologies for economic, social and cultural development. |
The collaboration is based on the fact that, allthough pursuing the same goals, the approach on reaching this goal is different. While INEC focuses on networking and knowledge sharing among its members and inititating innovation programs of its own through open access networks, ICF is a non-member think tank analyzing innovative programs all over the world on their contribution to economic develpment and dissiminating these research results through newsletter, events and award program. |
The MoU reflects the intention of both organizations to complement each other work by exchanging information, giving access to their networks and promoting each others events to enlarge the audience of cities around the world interested in innovative developments to create attractive, sustainable, competitive and social inclusive communities. |
