2004 Best Practice Event & Awards
The 1st Smart Community Best Practice Event was organized by SCIN in the Netherlands on November 18 & 19, 2004. The conference proved to be very successful with participants from numerous countries and communities engaged in the event's matchmaking session, the Best Practice Award Presentations as well as the overall conference focussing on smart communities and broadband deployment around the world.
The event was hosted by Logica CMG at the Living Tomorrow facilities in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Multimedia Learning System (Malaysia): Winner of the 2004 Best Practice Jury Award
Multimedia Learning System, developed by Malaysia's Multimedia University, was the Winner of the 2004 Best Practice Jury Award.
MLS features a Virtual Teacher, able to monitor students' learning development and is platform independent. Their presentation is attached below.
