I-NEC members in Brasov
I-NEC members met in Brasov (Romania) last week in conjunction with a scheduled Digital Cities gathering (http://www.digital-cities.eu/about) who’s initiating partners are all members of the International Network of e-Communities (I-NEC). The DC lead coordinator is the municipality of Trikala (GR), which through the e-Trikala project has a background in ICT based services. Other I-NEC members in the project are Manchester (UK), Malta, Paralimni (Cyprus) and Almere Kennistad (NL) as well as The University of Transilvania (Romania) and Jeseník (Czech Republic).
I-NEC’s new website launched
I-NEC has just launched a improved website that is aimed at providing members a better service as well as making it easier for interested parties to get basic information about the organization. The new website has a login members area, a special area for acting Board Positions to collaborate and a new simplified navigation to name but few of improvements.
The Municipality of Paralimni will be I-NEC member in 2010
The Municipality of Paralimni, Cyprus, has asked to become a I-NEC member in 2010 and are final preparations taking place. The membership signing is planned to take place in the next couple of months.

The City of Reykjavik joins I-NEC
The City of Reykjavik became a member of the I-NEC community in the beginning of the year. Reykjavik, who is the capital of Iceland, is advanced digital city and a active member in various but is seeking to expand its knowledge even more.
